West Yorkshire Sport holds a wealth of information about sport across the county and its officers have a wide range of experience of developing strategic plans. Examples of previous work include:
Bradford Physical Activity and Sport Strategy – working with the Community Sports Network, West Yorkshire Sport led the development and writing of the 2011 – 2015 strategy.
University of Bradford’s Active University bid – West Yorkshire Sport led the consultation process with University clubs and students. The bid was successful in attracting £230k for sport at the University and Bradford College.
Leeds Region Football Development Plan as part of the World Cup bid – through working with the 13 local authorities and West Riding County Football Association West Yorkshire Sport wrote the football development plan as part of the city’s successful bid for Host city status. Unfortunately the England bid was not as successful!
