Previous Experience:
James has worked in sports development for the past 10 years including roles in the charity, education and public sectors across Yorkshire.
James’ current role focuses on increasing the opportunities for disabled people in sport and physical activity across the Partnership. He is also the opeational lead for the delivery of the School Games Level 3 events. His specialist areas include project & event management, stakeholder engagement and partner relations.
His passion for sport and working with minority groups is evident and he has worked on a number of projects using sport for social change.
James recently completed a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Leeds Business School and is a part-time lecturer on the Sports Development course at Leeds Metropolitan University, covering modules in strategic management and project planning. He is also a Member of the Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.

Personal Sporting Intrests:
In his spare time James enjoys running, mountain biking and climbing. He is also the chairperson of the recently established Leeds Power Wheelchair Football Club.
