Previous Experience:
Kirsty has over 12 years of experience of working of working within the Education, Local Authority and National Governing Body sectors.
Kirsty has worked at West Yorkshire Sport since 2006, successfully implementing numerous Children and Young initiatives and national programmes within the network.
Currently, Kirsty is a member of the National Children and Young People group and has showcased good practice to other County Sport Partnerships off the back of West Yorkshire Sport achievements in projects such as Sport Unlimited and Step into Sport.
Prior to working with the County Sport Partnership, Kirsty was the Regional Development Officer for British Gymnastics 2002 - 2006, having responsibility for Coach Development & Education, Club Development and Increasing Participation within the National Governing Body.

BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, Leeds Metropolitan University
Personal Sporting Interests:
Kirsty was a national level gymnast before retiring with a knee injury, and now keeps up her sporting involvement by coaching at various gymnastics clubs in West Yorkshire, being a regular road runner and gym member.
