College & University Cricket Leagues in Bradford and Leeds

Published on: 16th January 2012

The league is aimed at students of all abilities who may find it more convenient to play their cricket on midweek afternoons as opposed to evenings and weekends and also those who just want to play as much cricket as possible in the build up to the new season.

Structure

Costs

Even though this is a student league, we believe £6 per player for 2 hours of organised competitive sport is very reasonable. It would cost much more than this for 2 hours in an indoor or floodlit football league.

Hopefully teams will be able to reduce the costs through funding from sponsorship. If a team found sponsors who paid them £320 this would cover the cost of the entry fee and reduce the weekly fee to only £32 (£4 per player).
