Published on: 19th January 2012

Bradford City's Disability Club, Bradford DFC, runs twice a week  on Fridays, 6.30-8.30pm and Sundays 10am-12noon at Bradford College, Trinity Green.

The Club now has over 70 members and have 4 teams that play  in the West Riding Ability Counts League, which our 1st team have come top the last 2 seasons.  The members have a great time at the Club playing football with people with similar disabilities.

They also have fundraising events that along with funding from the council they go to play at tournaments all over England and have been to Holland and Germany to play in tournaments aswell where the Club is highly regarded.  Our youngest member of the club is 8yrs old and our oldest is 56, the disabilities vary but are mainly learning disabilities.

The club gives access to young and old people alike who cant, because of their disability, access a mainstream football team. All ability levels are welcome and all our members love being part of this football club.
