Leeds Carnegie Launch Mini Maulers

The Leeds Rugby Foundation is launching a new kids club this summer called Mini Maulers.
Currently Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie hold rugby camps for players between 7-16 years of age but the new Mini Maulers programme will concentrate on the 4-7 year olds with sessions that last for an hour so the children get a fun packed session from start to finish.
Mini Maulers taster sessions are going to be available as part of the Leeds Rugby Foundation Summer camp programme across Leeds, the sessions will be split into age specific and therefore the children will be playing with friends all the same age.
The Mini Maulers sessions will allow children to meet new friends and develop new skills while parents and guardians can relax and watch the little ones having a great time in a safe and controlled environment.
Mini Maulers is for both boys and girls and is designed to develop a child's fundamental motor skills; balance; spatial awareness, knowledge of colours, numbers and shapes, and introducing core game skills such pas passing , catching and kicking and is all about having fun.
