New weekly health walk in Denby Dale and Cleckheaton

There is a new weekly health walk taking place every Thursday in Cleckheaton offering people the chance to walk around the local area for one to two hours in a bid to improve their health.

Walkers should meet at 10.00am in the reception at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre, Turnsteads Avenue, Cleckheaton, BD19 3AQ.

A new weekly health walk in Denby Dale starts on Thursday 2 August offering people the chance to walk around the local area for one to two hours in a bid to improve their health. 

Walkers should meet at 10.30am at the main entrance to the Springfield Mill Shopping Centre, Norman Road, Denby Dale, Huddersfield HD8 8TH.

The health walk is free and is a great way to get more active whilst enjoying the outdoors and having a chat along the way. Walking is a great way to enjoy being more active and has huge benefits to health and may make you feel as if you have more energy, help you sleep better, reduce stress levels, reduce your blood pressure and help manage weight.
