The Paralympic Sports Taster Day is being run by the Leeds Disability Sport Youth Panel (LDSYP). LDSYP is a group made up of people aged 16-25, with or without a disability, who all have a huge interest in developing disability sport. Their aims are to promote disability sport to a wider audience by delivering Paralympic legacy events & competitions in Leeds in the run up to London 2012.
The panel has achieved the “Inspire Mark”, which recognises exceptional projects that have been inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our honorary president is Tim Reddish OBE, who is chair of the British Paralympic Association (BPA).
