Are your coaching sessions accessible to all?
Published on: 20th April 2012
Everyone should have access to sport, regardless of gender, age, race, ability, faith or sexual orientation.
- Do you need help identifying and deal with any barriers to participation?
- Are you able to interpret all the legalities in the right language?
- Do you need to develop your existing skills and experience to make your coaching sessions more accessible?
If you need support in this area, West Yorkshire Sport has an Equity in your Coaching workshop to help you develop this side of your coaching planning and delivery.
This workshop will show you the best ways to make inclusion a reality. Your tutor will give you practical advice on how to adapt your existing skills to make your coaching sessions attractive to everyone. Find out more about the workshop and how it has benefited other coaches on the scUK website.
