Sports Leaders UK will be delivering a series of free information workshops in your area (Dates and venues below)
Sports Leaders UK has received approval for all of their qualifications to be included on the Qualification & Credit Framework (QCF). This has caused a number of changes and as such Sports Leaders UK are offering a series of free information workshops across the regions of East Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside.
we would like to invite you to one of these workshops.
What will the workshop cover?
This 2 hour workshop will cover information on the following :
- Funding for Sports Leaders UK qualifications.
- The Free Sports leaders UK resource to teach the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games ‘Teaching Values Through Leadership’.
- Qualification Credit Points for each learner and new Performance League Table Points (CVA) for Sports Leadership qualifications.
- The Pathway of Sports Leadership which can maximize Performance League Table Points and Learner Qualification Credits.
- A closer look at The Sports Leaders UK Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership.
- The Learning Outcomes & the links between the qualifications including changes in minimum ages for the Sports Leaders UK Qualifications.
- The new Sport England ‘Sports Makers’ opportunities.
- New Sports Leaders UK Qualifications which will be launched later in this academic year.
- The new Sports Leaders UK Membership Scheme for young people
- Sports Leaders UK Volunteer Recognition Award
- The A4 Records of Achievement (ROA) which replace the old log books and the new 'E -version' Tutor Resource Packs.
- Sports Leaders UK new 'easy to use' course administration (course paperwork).
- Sports Leaders UK National Tutor Training Program
- How to set up your own organisations 'Leadership Academy'.
There will also be an opportunity to network and share good practise.
