Recycle Cricket Kit @ Denby Dale, 8 Oct 2011
Published on: 3rd October 2011
Recycle your Cricket Kit by dropping it off at Denby Dale Cricket Club this Saturday Morning 8th October from 10 – 12.
Denby Dale Cricket Club Coach Mick Greig will be in the pavilion to receive your kit.
As it’s the end of the season now is the time to sort through your kit, empty the wardrobe and recycle unwanted items to help others. All local clubs, tidy out that storage area and make some space in the club house.
LV=SOS Kit Aid, supported by The Lord’s Taverners and the ECB, provides both second hand and new cricket kit to underprivileged children in the UK and overseas by collecting unwanted used kit from UK schools, clubs and individuals. The programme makes a positive and tangible impact on young people’s lives by giving children of all abilities and backgrounds the chance to participate in sporting activities. It promotes social inclusion and helps drive a sustainable environment through recycling.
