Sports Aid - Gold Tribute to Sport Dinner, Feb 3, 2012

Published on: 23rd November 2011

On Friday 3rd February 2012 Olympic Gold medal-winning swimmer Adrian Moorhouse MBE (pictured) will be speaking at SportsAid’s Gold Tribute to Sport Dinner at Headingley Carnegie Stadium in Leeds.

The black-tie event will be a special celebration of Yorkshire sport in Britain’s home Olympic year.

SportsAid raises funds to support the next generation of Britain's sporting champions. In 2010/11 in Yorkshire alone, SportsAid distributed £148,000 to over 200 of the region’s best emerging athletes. We can only continue to do this, however, with the support of our partners and supporters. SportsAid provides practical support and recognition at a time when the athlete’s only sponsor is usually their parents.

Adrian Moorhouse was one of SportsAid's first ever award recipients in Yorkshire and went on to win medals and break records at the highest level.

At just £500 for a table, or £1200 for our Gold Sponsorship package, which gives businesses extensive brand exposure, you won’t find better value for money or a more topical and entertaining night in the Yorkshire calendar.

The line-up includes a luxury reception where guests will be able to meet Yorkshire’s rising stars, followed by a four course meal, Adrian Moorhouse’s speech and then entertainment from former Rugby League star Lea Roberts.

What better way to play your part in Yorkshire’s Olympic legacy than to help SportsAid support the sports stars of tomorrow today?
