Published on: 9th January 2012

Happy New Year from everyone at SportsAid Y&H. As we all know, 2012 is arguably British sport’s biggest ever year as the Olympic and Paralympic Games come to London. What better way to kick off this momentous year than to show your support for Yorkshire’s next generation of sporting champions?

You can make your own direct and tangible contribution to Yorkshire’s Olympic legacy by supporting SportsAid’s Gold Tribute to Sport Dinner on Friday 3rd of February at Headingley Carnegie Stadium in Leeds.

Places at the event are now very limited, with only about 5 tables still remaining, so if you’re interested in attending, please make sure you contact the SportsAid office soon.

The Gold Tribute to Sport Dinner is set to be the biggest and best yet. Our speaker will be Olympic Gold medal-winning swimmer and SportsAid alumnus Adrian Moorhouse, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet an exciting crop of talented emerging athletes who are destined to represent Yorkshire at the highest level in the years to come.

At just £50 a place, or £500 for a table of ten, the Gold Tribute to Sport Dinner is extremely good value and includes a four course meal as well as a speaker, entertainment and the chance to support a unique cause in Britain’s home Olympic year.

For more information, including details of timings and the menu, please see the event’s homepage on the SportsAid website. Alternatively, you can contact the SportsAid office directly on 0113 242 7627 or by emailing yorkshire@sportsaid.org.uk
