Britain in a Day: sports coach UK call for coaches’ stories

sports coach UK is encouraging coaches to engage in the BBC’s Britain in a Day project to let the nation hear about their stories.
Britain in a Day takes place on 12 November 2011 and is asking the people of Britain to film their thoughts, hopes and aspirations to create the definitive self-portrait of the UK.
sports coach UK would like coaches to take the opportunity to tell the nation why they coach, why they got into coaching, the buzz they get from coaching.
The resulting film and online archive will be premiered in cinemas and broadcast on BBC Two for a general audience, ahead of the London Olympics.
Films can be shot on anything from hand held-mobile phones to HD cameras. The higher the quality the better – but it’s the content of your film that really counts. Films must be shot in the 24hrs from 0.00 to 11.59 on Saturday 12 November.
