Sk8 Safe™ is a Learn to Skateboard initiative founded in North Yorkshire in 2006 with the aim of making skateboarding accessible to all ages and all walks of life. We provide both direct skateboard coaching services with our excellent team of highly trained and professional coaches and also the unique Sk8 Safe™ Programme for setting up your own self sustained initiative.
The Sk8 Safe™ Programme is a Level 2 Nationally Accredited Course in Skateboard Coaching. In development since 2006, the Sk8 Safe™ Programme is an industry leading solution to providing a real alternative to traditional sports in school on curriculum time and for outside of school sports clubs.
The Sk8 Safe Programme is recognised by School Sports Coordinators, the Police, County Councils and Youth Organisations throughout England for delivering truly unique results in engaging young people from very different cultural backgrounds.
The benefits of the Sk8 Safe™ Programme are manifold and both sports and non-sports based. In engaging children in an activity that has often been misunderstood we have achieved excellent results and often find that both gifted and challenged children achieve some remarkable results via our classes.
