Sport Leeds, with the support of the Leeds Sports Federation and Leeds City Council are delighted to announce this years Leeds Sports Awards, celebrating sporting excellence in 2011.
The Leeds Sports Awards celebrates the achievements and successes of athletes present and past, both professional and amateur, administrators and volunteers across all fields of sport.
Achievements which take place locally throughout the year largely goes unnoticed, whether it be volunteering, turning in day in day out to create coaching opportunities for young people at their local clubs or simply thriving to achieve excellence within a chosen sport.
Through holding the Leeds Sports Awards we are able to recognise and reward the achievement, hard work and commitment toward sport in 2011.
Please find attached a copy of the nomination form for you to complete. The closing date for the awards is the 27th January 2012, with the awards to be held on the 15th March 2012. Please can you forward the nomination form to all clubs, partners and other groups you have links with that may be able to make nominations.
