The Harlem Globetrotters are a worldwide icon, synonymous with family entertainment and great basketball skills.  The Globetrotters represent 84 years of breaking down barriers, acts of goodwill, and a commitment to fans that goes beyond the game.

The Globetrotters’ show will feature even more amazing basketball skills and wizardry, with a continued focus on family entertainment. Off the court, the organization will increase alliances with global partners, develop a full line of licensed products, execute a multi-media strategy to gain worldwide saliency, and continue the brand’s legacy of deep social involvement in local communities.

The Original Harlem Globetrotters visited Bradford's Odsal Stadium, over 50 years after their last visit in 1957 when they played on a boarded outdoor court against the United States Basketball Stars.

The two Harlem Globetrotter stars that attended, 'Flip' Atkins and 'Blenda' Rodriguez, spoke at a press conference to young players that had attended from local clubs including Bradford Maroons, Bradford Dragons and Huddersfield New College. The Harlem Globetrotters performed tricks themselves from their show, taught some Bradford Bulls players(Karl Pryce, Alex Bell and Olivier Elima) some basketball tricks, and allowed local players to hold spinning basketballs whilst having their photo's taken.

They answered questions from the group and were a true inspiration to those that attended.
