What were you doing on Mischief Night?

Published on: 5th November 2011

There aren't enough good news stories about what teenagers do in their spare time but whilst others were out on nefarious activities and the fireworks were exploding in the distance  the Yorkshire Senior and U18 (and U15 - unfortunately not in the picture) girls' squads were down at Castleford RUFC to spend their Friday night training for this Sunday's matches against Cheshire and Lancashire.

There was a tremendous amount of effort displayed in the session and we wish them well in their matches. It was great for the club to host the training and during the coming months the club will host The RFUW North Division training groups and an inter-county festival to underline the club's commitment to girls rugby in Yorkshire.

Castleford RUFC are actively recruiting for players (whether new starters or

experienced) for their U13, U15 and U18 squads and also wish to set up a ladies team. Training is on Wednesday nights from 6.15 to 7.30 and Sunday mornings.

We are also looking for fixtures for this season.
