Sports Leaders UK

Step into Sport is an exciting initiative, which encourages more young people to become involved in sport in their local communities. Funded by the Department for Culture Media and Sport and the Home Office Active Communities Unit, British Sport Trust, Sport England and Youth Sport Trust. These agencies are contracted as a consortium to provide a structured path to attract people into rewarding sports volunteering and to deploy their experience and talents to enrich local community and school sport.

The National Associations of Councils for Voluntary Service (NACVS)

The network of over 300 councils for Voluntary Service throughout England. Promoting voluntary and community action by supporting the member CVS by acting as a national voice.

Volunteer Development England (VDE)

The membership association of Volunteer Development Agencies and Bureaux.

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations

The National Council provides management advice and information for the voluntary sector.

TimeBank

The aim of TimeBank is to encourage people to give time and inspire people to volunteer and is supported by the BBC. TimeBank is supported locally by a network of Time Partner organisations, volunteer bureaux and Council for Voluntary Services that provides support and follow up systems for people who want to volunteer.
