A few words about marketing:
We have simplified the branding process to help you create strong promotional designs.
You can find a simplified logo pack and sample poster in the above document list.
Projects need to be pre-fixed with the word Sportivate. This will help build the brand and links to the 2012 legacy. WYSport and partners need to use the Sportivate brand and 3 logo’s (Sportivate, National Lottery/Sport England, West Yorkshire Sport) and abide by the guidelines as set out in the information pack.
When creating a poster, you can get good photos for free:

New marketing development include the black and white ‘QR’ code (looks like a box barcode) and is designed to be scanned by a mobile phone and can be used to direct people to websites, send an SMS etc. They are free and can be generated at free websites such as http://qrcode.kaywa.com/
We have set up a ‘Sportivate WY’ page on facebook -
http://www.facebook.com/SportivateWY
Facebook is the cheapest way to reach half the country (yes, 51% of the UK pop has a facebook account)
If you believe word of mouth is the best publicity – you believe in social marketing. Use good feedback of the first sessions to sell the next set.
You don’t have to put anything up there, but if you can tell everyone on Sportivate courses to Like the page – that will be a great way for them to alert their circles of friend and spread awareness.
