Badminton

Badminton is the largest participated racket sport in the world and 4th most popular sport overall, appealing to all ages, genders and standards, and offering fun participation through to a competitive structure.

Due to its popularity, BADMINTON England has a growing network of 3,500 clubs and as a sport, boasts attractive health benefits and participation opportunities all year round.

Schools

BADMINTON England recognise that schools are an integral part of growing the game, that is why we offer a variety of opportunities to engage children/young people.

Each year we run the Centre Parcs National Schools Championship, this competition has over 15,000 competitors and is one of the biggest and best on offer to young people with the final being held at Centre Parcs.

We also offer a number of resource packs and professional development course to assist with the delivery of Badminton in both curricula and extra curricula activities.

Badminton has featured in the West Yorkshire School Games, for more information click here
