It is a not for profit organisation dedicated to the development of exercise, movement and dance provision throughout England and the UK. EMDP’s vision is to have ‘More people enjoying good health and well-being through exercise movement and dance – for life’.
West Yorkshire Sport is working in Partnership with Yorkshire Dance to develop youth dance and takes on the role of co-ordinating the West Yorkshire Dance Hub.
The West Yorkshire Dance Hub is a strategic group with members from across the county from various sectors, and 3 of the 5 districts have a local dance hub which provides a 2-way communication link with the WY hub. Our aim is to ensure that dance is co-ordinated strategically across the county in order to increase the amount and quality of dance opportunities across the county and to develop and support our local practitioners.
